Church Update: Empowering Our Youth and Serving Our Community

At Sanctuary of Praise International Ministries, we continue to pursue our vision of restoring human dignity through Christ’s redemptive work by actively engaging with our community and empowering individuals to live purpose-driven lives.

Here’s a glimpse of some recent activities that reflect our commitment to fulfilling the great commission.

Youth Empowerment Session

As part of our ongoing mission to uplift and equip the next generation, we recently hosted a Youth Empowerment Session focused on the importance of goal setting and planning. The session provided young people with practical tools to define clear goals and develop actionable steps to achieve them. We also emphasized strategies for overcoming obstacles, encouraging resilience and perseverance.

By helping youth cultivate a positive mindset and the skills to navigate life’s challenges, we aim to inspire them to reach their full potential and confidently pursue their God-given purpose.

Annual Free Community BBQ

Our church was also delighted to host our annual Free Community BBQ, a cherished event designed to demonstrate God’s love and care for the Cardiff community. This gathering offered an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together, enjoy a delicious meal, and build connections in a warm and welcoming environment.

More than just sharing food, this event is about strengthening community bonds and providing a tangible expression of the love and compassion that Christ has called us to show. We’re grateful for the chance to serve our neighbours and share the message of God’s love through fellowship and hospitality.

We remain dedicated to our mission, whether it’s through persistent prayers at the altar, preaching the Word of God, or reaching out to those in need. We look forward to continuing to walk together in faith as we work toward the restoration of lives in our community and beyond.
